Part of the successful television show of KRO Kindertijd we created a safe online world for young children (+3 till 7) and their parents to play. The world is a place to explore and find all kinds of games, tools and on-demand television shows. The concept behind the world is the so called “kind op schoot mode”. This results in all kind of online activities where parents and children play together behind 1 computer.
KRO Kindertijd won the “Gouden Apenstaart 2008″ for Best Children website of The Netherlands.
Unfortunately after 4 years of being one of the most successful children website the KRO decided to create another version internally.
The world of KRO kindertijd is designed around a table (symbol for family values). Parents can register themselves and their children. That allow them to communicate in a safe way with their children by sending little presents.

The world consist of all kind of cool mini games.
TECH
KRO Kindertijd is made with Flash and runs a custom made CMS (content management system) for controlling all the content and add new themes to games.
