DROPSTUFF.nl / Interactive ArtCasting

ds-venice1

DROPSTUFF.nl is a museum-like platform for interactive media art, online and in the public space.

DROPSTUFF.nl is an interactive narrowcasting channel that shows both artworks from professional artists and designers, as well as creative contributions from the audience, on a network of larger and smaller screens. These are the DS_HOTSPOTS in museums, railway stations, schools, libraries, art academies and online on this website. DROPSTUFF.nl also owns a mobile LED-screen, the DS_PAVILION (70 m2 led wall), that you can find at squares in the Netherlands and abroad. All screens and the website are mutually connected, whereby real interaction is possible.

TECH

The organisation behind DROPSTUFF.nl asked us to provide the installation technology which allows artists to create interactive artwork for this project. The framework is made with Flash. We also created the website and communication channels (SMS, YouTube) which are hooked up to all the connected screens.
